Chris Babcock Art Workshop Review

Love, love, love Art with Chris! She's a fantastic teacher, fun and makes painting totally accessible no matter what your skill or experience level is. I just finished up the Adult Fall oil-painting series which was a blast. Felt like a giddy school-kid bringing my masterpieces home to show my family. She uses top-notch materials and her sunny studio is a creative oasis. There are kids classes too and you'll be blown away by what they produce....I caught myself salivating over their Wayne Thiebaud cupcakes and the Yoshitomo Nara studies were so sassy. Treat yourself to one of these classes. It's so worth it!

Love Painting Review

Great business owner. I was calling around to different painters to chat about my job and while I didn't use Love Painting, I did talk to Sean Love. He focuses his business on jobs that are $1,000 and more. As a marketing person, I "love" that - segment the market and target a specific segment. Awesome.  So my job was considerably smaller, but he was completely willing to give me some advice about other painters I was talking to. He gave me great insight and helped me choose my painter. Took him some extra time even though he wasn't up for my business, so deserves some extra good karma. Hopefully I'm sending good karma his way with this review.

Susan Miller Gallery & School of Fine Art Review

Susan Miller is a fantastic person! I began painting last year and I am already at my 10th art work. I have never met such a dedicated and loving teacher. She has an unique style and will make you love art (and life too). You have to meet her to understand how wonderful is painting with Susan. I look forward to going to her art gallery on weekends, and every student is amazing.

Jean Henry School of Art

Thought it was time for an update after three years of being a student of Mike Ritch, the owner of the Jean Henry School of Art. I've seen significant improvement in my paintings since working with Mike. He's patient and knowledgable, and a truly gifted artist himself. He's encouraged me to try new styles and subjects, and offered help whenever I've wanted it. The prices are *extremely* reasonable, and the class sizes small so you can get as much personal attention as you'd like. Great for beginning artists, but many of my classmates have been painting for decades on their own and want a friendly place to paint where they can get helpful feedback. I really enjoy the holiday art show in which students' work is displayed. Mike sells paint, frames, canvases and other supplies in case I don't want to make a trip to the store. Parking is also super easy here.
